- en büyük çocuk romanlarından biridir. nitekim benzerleri iyilik, kardeşlik, mutluluk gibi çocuk zırvalarını işlerken tom sawyer içinde aşk, cinsellik, hırsızlık, suç gibi konuları da işler. birçok çocuğun okumasıyla hayata bakışını biraz da olsa değiştirebilmiş kitaplardan biridir. özellikle epsilon yayıncılıktan çıkan baskısı en iyisidir.
