- therion'un 1992'de yayınlanmış beyond sanctorum albümünde yer alan enfes parçadır. oldukça eski bir şarkı olduğundan therion'un bugünkü müziğinden epeyce farklıdır. daha therion'un senfonik metal'e geçmediği dönemlerdir.
- fastball adlı grubun 1998 yılında piyasaya sürdüğü all the pain money can buy isimli albümün açılış şarkısı olan, bunun yanında bu albümü billboard top 200’da bir yıl boyunca tutmayı başarmış ve ayrıca kendisi de 7 hafta boyunca billboard modern rock şarkıları listesinde bir numarada kalmış olan harikulade şarkı. pek muhtemel ki grubun en çok bilinen şarkısı. ayrıca 1998 grammy ödüllerinde grubun iki dalda aday olmasını da sağlamıştır. 90ların en iyi şarkılarından biridir.
raymond ve lela howard isimli texas’li bir çift 97 haziranında bir festivale katılmak için evden ayrılırlar, ancak bir daha geri dönmezler. ayrılmalarından iki hafta sonra çiftin ölü bedenleri gitmek istedikleri yere giden yoldan yüzlerce mil uzakta, bir dağ geçidinin altında bulunur. gazetede bu haberi okuyan fastball basçısı tony scalzo öyküden etkilenir ve bu çiftin hikayesini anlatan the way böylece ortaya çıkmış olur.
