  2. eli gitarın klavyesi üstünde kaydırarak çalma işlemidir. iki farklı sesi* eli klavyeden kaldırmadan birbirine bağlamaktır. gaz ritmler girmeden önce alt perdelerden yukarı doru kaydırılarak girilirse süper gaz etki yapar.

    cam, metal ve plastikten imal edilenleri vardır. gitarı perdelerden bağımsız çalarsınız. burada önemli olan slide ın gitar klavyesine değmemesidir. tellerin üzerinde gezdirilerek veya kaydırılarak çalınır. blues gitaristleri bu tekniği sıklıkla kullanırlar. daha az nota basarak daha etkili cümlecikler kurulabilir. akustik gitar ile uyumu etkileyicidir.

  6. davulda bir pedal tekniğidir.özellikle sağ ayakla arka arkaya dırıt dırıt dırıt yapmak için uygun bir tekniktir.adından da anlaşılabileceği üzere ayak pedal üzerinde kaydırılarak iki defa vurma işlemi içerir.pedalın tepkisi bu anlamda işe yarar.
