pain of salvation be albümünde tadından yinmeyen parça. hiç adetim değil ama buyrun çok güzel sözleri:

insana garip bi mutluluk veren parça. ayrıca "take me to the forest" la başlayan kısmını, dinlettiğim insanların ezberleme çabası dikkatimi çekti. tekerleme gibi geliyor sanırım

insana ortaçağ avrupasını falan çağrıştıran ( yani filmlerden gördüğümüz kadarıyla) süper sözleriyle eğlenceli bir pain of salvation eseri.

be'nin en görkemli parçalarından biri. atmosferiyle neofolksever bünyeleri kendinden geçirirken, sonunda gildenlöw'ün coştuğu kısım ayrıca etkileyicidir. parçanın adının manası antik roma'da ölünün yüzünden alınan kalıpla yapılan büsttür. parçanın sözleri druid felsefesini anlatır. daha geniş kapsamda bakarsak tasavvufa kadar yolu var.

albümdeki çözümleme süreci her şey kaybedildikten sonra* gerçekleşir:

şarkının içerisinde bir "be" vurgusu var ki, "her şey onun bir 'ol' demesi ile olmuştur." diye lafına devam edecekmiş gibi geliyor (el-kadir yapalım şarkının adını hatta, tövbe tövbe). ayrıca ezgisi aklıma chain sling'i getiriyor, çok tuhaf. bu şarkıları birbirine benzetme huyuma bir son vermeliyim.
