manowar'ın 2007'de çıkmış son albümüdür. bir önceki warriors of te world albümünde başlayan yumuşama ve tarz değişikliği sinyalleri bu albümde tamamen kendini göstermiştir. ancak döneminin farklı türlerdeki guplarında * * görülen tarz değişikliği ve yumuşamaya göre olumsuz bir tarz değişikliği olammıştır. grup müziklerini daha senfonik bir forma taşımıştır. her nekadar manowar tarzını özeltmiş olsa da albümde manowar ruhu hala yaşamaktadır. yer yer eski tarzına yakışan gitar riffleri sergilenmiştir.

grup albüm teması olarak yine iskandinav mitolojisini seçmiştir bu albümde. bu tarz değişikliğinin en olumlu olduğu nokta budur. odin, thor, sleipnir, valhalla, loki gibi temel tanımlar bu albümde işlenmiş olup temel konu yine savaştır. zaten bu tenayı işlemekte çok başarılı olan manowar başarısına bir yenisini eklemiştir. senfonik öğelerle kendinizi kuzey bozkırlarında hissetmeniz kaçınılmazdır.

tek kötü nokta glory majesty unity parçasında manowar elemanlarının sergilediği koro kısmı olmuş olsa da bu albümün nazar boncuğudur.

albümün sonunda da her zaman bir manowar klasiği olan heavy metal temalı die for metal parçası bonus olarak bulunaktadır.

anlatım kısmında orson welles'in bir benzeri bulunmuştur. bu da eskiyi fazla aratmamaktadır.

sonuç olarak çok başarılı bir manowar albümüdür. ilediği konuyu oldukça başarılı icra etmişlerdir. defalarca dinlenecek albümlerden birisi olmuştur.
