- 12 yaşında müziğe başlamış, 5 nisan 1998 de geçirmiş olduğu motosiklet kazası yüzünden hayatını kaybetmiş,lakabı ahtapot olan davul virtüözü. rainbow, whitesnake, elf, black sabbath, cinderella gibi bir çok ünlü grupla çalıştı.ölmeden önce en son yngwie malmsteen 'in facing the animal albümünde çalmiştı. öldüğü hafta zamanın şebek heavy metal fanzini onun adına özel sayı yapmıştır.
- vakt-i zamanında ritchie blackmore, roger glover ve de ronny james dio ile beraber rainbow'un efsane kadrosunu oluşturan efsanelerden biri.
