2006 yeni zelanda yapımı çok kaliteli bir sinematografiye sahip b korku-komedi filmi. yönetmen jonathan king bu ilk filminde görselliği ''konuşturmuş'' tek kelimeyle. yeni zelanda'nın reklamı gibi mübarek. hatta bir ara o harika manzaralara falan bakarken ''abi ne koyunu ya burada başyapıt falan çekin'' diye içten içe kendimi yemedim değil. konusunu genleriyle oynanan koyunların bir laboratuvarın başına bela olmasından alan film son derece komik ilerliyor. braindead'le kıyaslayanlar olmuş imdb'de ancak aksiyonun ve olay yoğunluğunun braindead'ten uzak olduğunu belirtmek gerek. o konuda braindead tam bir şov. bu sakın black sheep yeterince iyi değil sonucunu çıkartmasın. şöyle açıklayayım:
bir film düşünün ki zavallı kurban peşindeki psikopat koyunlardan kaçıyor ve kuytu bir yere saklanıyor. etraf tenha ve ekran başındaki bizler bu gergin havada bir koyun sesi duyacakmıyız diye geriliyoruz. daha ne olsun? masum bir ''beeee'' sesi bizi ürkütür boyuta gelmiş o filmi takdir ederim ben. koyunların da inanılmaz tatlı olduğunu belirtmek isterim ayrıca. derhal oyuncakları falan bulunup alınası. efektler ve makyajlar da müthiş olmuş. koyunların toplu hareketleri olsun, saldırmaları falan olsun mükemmel. kamyonetin yolunda sabit durup aracın yolunu kesen bir tane var ki on numara olmuştu.
gerçekten kaliteli bir b korku-komedi izlemek isteyenlerin kaçırmaması gereken bir yapım olmuş kısacası. özenli kamera kullanımı ve kaliteli görüntü yönetminin yanına absürd ama kaliteli bir öykü yerleştirip önümüze sunmaları çok takdir edilesi.

et yiyen koyunların kurbanlara sağdan veya soldan habersiz uçtuğu sahnelerde beni gülme krizine sokmuş müthiş bir bağımsız korku-komedi. yeni zelanda yapımı film gene bu ülkenin vatandaşı olan peter jackson'dan da sağlam bir destek almıştır. toplu koyun saldırısı gibi sahneler jackson'ın görsel efekt şirketi weta tarafından yaratılmıştır.
