- bazen bir kabusa bile dönüşebilecek bir problemdir. aslında bu başlık aynı kapıya çıkan benzer birçok soruyu cevaplayabilmek için uzunca düşünerek oluşturuldu. "acaba bu filmi kütüphanede izlesem çok sorun olur mu?", "filmin imdb den ve beyazperde den puanlarına baktım çok iç açıcı değil, bu kadar az puanlık filmi izlemek için çok fazla günaha girer miyim?", "bu filmi evde ailemle beraber izleyebilir miyim?", "küçük kardeşimi acaba hangi filme götürsem?", "kız arkadaşımla şu filme gitsek çıkışta benden ayrılır mı?" gibi sorular..
bu sorulara cevap edinebilecek bir siteye rastladım. aslında site anne babaların çocuklarına film seçerken bakacakları şekilde düşünülmüş ama yukarıdaki tüm sorulara ve daha birçok benzerlerine cevap verebileek kapasitede olduğunu gördüm. filmleri üç şekilde puanlıyor. birincisi "sex & nudity" (seks ve çıplaklık), ikincisi "violence & gore" (şiddet ve vahşet); üçüncüsü ise "profanity" (ağız bozukluğu). puanlarına bakarak bir filmde karar verebiliyorsunuz. üçünden sıfır alan bir film olmadığı gibi üçünden de 10 alabilen bir film de bulamadım ben. zannettiğiniz gibi animasyon filmler değil en alttaki filmler. animasyon filmleri çoğu şiddet kısmından kaybetmiş. tepede tanıdık filmlerden pulp fiction var, o da seks ve çıplaklıktan kaybetmiş bir puan. ayrıca amerikan film birliği (mpaa) nın verdiği ratingler de var. gerçi o ratingleri filmlerin fragmanlarında da görebiliyorsunuz veya filmin imdb de ki sayfasında da var. onları da yazının sonunda vericem.
şimdi bu sitenin en sevdiğim özelliği sizi hesapladığı puanlar ile başbaşa bırakmayışı, film boyunca bu üç kritlerden herhangi birine uyan sahneleri tamamen ayrıntısıyla yazmışlar. hem rakam olarak saymışlar hem de hayalinizde canlandıracak kadar yazmışlar. hatta ağız bozukluğu kategorisinde kutsal şeylere karşı söylenen lafları bile yazıyorlar, bir de eğer filmde fazlaca uyuşturucu kullanımı ve özendirimi varsa "substance use" diye ayrı bir başlıkda da onu inceliyorlar. dikkatimi çeken başka bir nokta ise, adamların direk sahneleri bırak cinselliğin, uyuşturucunun îmâ edildiği sahneleri bile listelemeleri. ayrıca filmin kısaca konusu da var. hakikaten olabilecek en profesyonel çalışma. keşke bunun türk filmleri için de olan versiyonu olsa.
mesela ben ne kadar ayrıntılı olduğunu göstermen amacıyla "sex & nudity" için "the girl next door", "violence & gore" için "kill bill: vol.1" ve son olarak "profanity" ve "substance use" için "the departed" filmlerinin sayfasından buraya birkaç alıntı yapayım. örnekler epeyce uzun, bilhassa öyle seçtim ayrıntıyı göstermek için. eğer okursanız hayrete düşeceğinizden eminim. ama okumak istemeyenler bu türkçe'ye çevirmekle uğraşmadığım kısmı atlayıp, eğer merak ediyorlarsa mpaa ratinglerinin tefsirine göz atabilirler.

the girl next door
sex/nudity 8 - a young man and a young woman kiss, she sits on top of him, thrusts rhythmically, and they kiss again. young men and young women kiss in several scenes. a young man kisses two women wearing bikini-type underwear. a young man imagines a young woman unzipping his father's pants, performing oral sex on him (we hear her moaning) and kissing his mother, down to her breasts. two women kiss passionately. two women kiss and nuzzle two young men while being photographed. two women lap dance on a man and a young man (we see their bare breasts). a man tries to force a young man to perform oral sex on him and opens his pants. men and women kiss and caress each other. a young man drops his underwear and prepares for a sex scene in a pornographic movie. a young woman lies on a bed, removes her top to her bra and invites a young man to have sex with her. a young man watches pornographic videos in several scenes: we see a woman moving rhythmically and moaning in one scene. two young men watch another pornographic movie and we hear the actors moaning, and in another video we see a young woman remove her robe in front of two men (we see her bare back) and we hear her moan. a young man kisses another young man on the mouth (it's not clear whether it is sexual). young men and women dance and kiss. we see a statue of a woman on her hands and knees with a man standing behind her (presumably having sex). a young man stares at a young woman admiringly and watches her undress through a window (we see her bare back, the side of her bare breast and her buttocks in a thong). young men talk about having sex and wanting to have sex (sometimes in crude terms) in many scenes. we see topless women wearing thongs dancing in a night club; men admire them as they dance around poles (we see bare breasts and buttocks). two women are shown nude revealing bare breasts and buttocks. a young man is forced by a young woman to remove all of his clothes while standing in a street (we see his bare butt and chest and his hands cover his private parts), he runs through the street holding an inner tube over himself. young men moon a security officer (we see their bare buttocks) and we see a man in thong underwear (bare buttocks are revealed). a young woman removes her clothes to her bra and panties, and a young man removes his clothes to his boxers and they get into a swimming pool together. two women remove their dresses revealing bras and panties. we see sculptures of women's abdomens and crotches, bare buttocks, and the male sex organ. people remark about a young man's endowment while watching a pornographic video. we see many women in tiny bikinis with thongs, dancing suggestively at an adult film convention, and we also see a person dressed in a costume that resembles the male sexual organ. a woman tells a young man that he's "cute" and she strokes his thigh. a young woman who is being photographed (we don't know this initially) licks her lips and says "how do you want me?" a man makes a sexual threat toward a young man. a classroom of young people watch a movie about unprotected sex and teenage pregnancy. a young man's nickname is a slang term for a part of the female anatomy. a group of young men thrust their hips and rub themselves on a person wearing a mascot costume. a young man lands in a cake shaped like breasts. women wear low-cut, short tops that reveal cleavage and bare abdomens, and low-cut dresses that reveal cleavage and bare shoulders and backs. we see a magazine picture of a woman in her underwear. a young man and a young woman flirt in several scenes.
kill bill vol 1
violence/gore 10 - a woman bites a man's lip (or tongue, it's not clear) and pulls, he screams and falls onto the floor motionless, his face and chest are covered with blood, and she is covered with blood. we hear panting and moaning, pan onto a woman with a very bloody and bruised face and see her shot in the head. a woman cuts a woman's arm off: blood sprays and pours and the woman flails and screams. a woman throws a knife and it hits a man in the achilles tendon, he falls to the floor, the woman slams his head in a door repeatedly (we hear crunching of bone and see his legs twitching). a man's head is lopped off by a sword, blood sprays and pours from his neck, the assailant holds the severed head in the air and then drops it on a table. a woman is surrounded by people with swords and a fight begins: she slashes and slices, one man's eye is pulled out, an arm is cut off, a man is hit in the chest with a hatchet, another hit in the head with a hatchet, we hear slashing and squishing, a man's head is cut off, a man is sliced across the mouth (blood sprays and pours and gushes), another man's arm is sliced off, and a man's leg is sliced off. a woman fights off many people with swords leaving many without limbs (there is a lot of blood pouring, spurting, spraying and gushing). two women fight with swords; one is slashed on the back, she moans and bleeds, a woman is slashed on the leg, they both slash back and forth, blood sprays and we see a scalp with hair fly through the air and then one woman falls to the ground dead and we see her exposed brain. a man and a woman fight on a balcony railing: the man's legs are cut off and he falls into a pool of water below (the water turns red from blood). a young woman swings a bladed ball on a chain and hits a wall, it hits a woman in the chest twice (we see blood in her mouth), and it hits a woman on the shoulder (she is cut); the ball also hits a woman in the back of the head, the chain wraps around her neck and she begins choking. a woman is stabbed in the foot by a board with nails and then in the head (her eyes bleed). blood pours from a woman's mouth and she screams. a woman fights many in a darkened room (we see the proceedings in silhouette and hear gurgling and cries). a woman is shot at. a woman kills another woman by throwing a knife to her chest; she falls to the floor dead, and the first woman pulls the knife out of her chest and wipes the blood off (a young girl was watching). we hear about a woman's family being killed by a yakuza boss and we see the scenario played out in an animated sequence: people fight, we hear squishing sounds from knives slashing, blood sprays and pours from a man's back and chest, he falls to the floor in front of a small girl who is watching under a bed, we see a sword slammed into the back of his head and watch his eyes close as he dies; the little girl whimpers, a woman is thrown onto a bed, a man brings a sword down, we see it poke through the mattress near a girl's head, the mattress becomes soaked with blood and a drop falls on the girl's face. the room is then set on fire. another animated sequence shows a girl (she's 11 years old) straddling a man and stabbing him in the stomach (he spits blood and she pulls out the sword): the room is then showered with blood, two men shoot at the girl, she shoots one man's leg off, then his head, then the other man's leg is shot off and then his head, and a man is shot from a distance and blood sprays and leaves a hole in his head. a woman stabs a man in the crotch, we hear a squishing sound and see blood spray when she pulls her sword out. we see a woman being beaten by several people. several people lie dead on the floor surrounded by puddles of blood and covered with blood after having been shot. a woman is punched in the face and sails back through the air (we see many bruises on her face and blood). two women fight with punches kicks and knives: one hits the other on the leg with a stick, they throw each other around a room breaking glass and furniture, one is held in a chokehold, one is hit with a fireplace poker, and they fight with a knife and a frying pan (we see them both with blood and bruises on their faces). a wounded woman is rolled down a hill. a woman throws a dagger that passes near another woman's face and goes into a wall. two men argue, and one squeezes the other's hand. a woman who was pregnant wakes up from a coma and screams in grief when she realizes she has lost her baby. a man leans over a presumably dead body that spits blood on his face. a young man is spanked on the buttocks with a sword. a pregnant woman lying motionless on the floor is surrounded by blood after having been shot. we see an extreme close-up of a mosquito landing on a person's skin, we see it poke its proboscis into the skin and hear it sucking and slurping. a woman threatens to kill a woman's husband, her daughter and her. a woman threatens to cut pieces off another woman's body. a man punches an ashtray, it breaks and it cuts his hand. a man throws a baseball at a woman and she cuts it in half with a sword. a woman falls to the floor unable to walk after waking up from a coma.
the departed
profanity 10 - 226 f-words and its derivatives, 6 obscene hand gestures, 16 sexual references, 23 scatological terms, 32 anatomical terms, 5 mild obscenities, 3 derogatory terms for italians, 3 derogatory terms for african-americans, 1 derogatory term for irish people, 1 derogatory term for chinese people, 3 derogatory terms for homosexuals, name-calling (maggot, moron, rat, crazy, stupid, punk), 4 religious profanities, 10 religious exclamations.
substance use - a man throws a handful of cocaine into a room and watches as a woman presumably snorts it (we do not see her) and he tells her, "don't come up until you are numb." we see drug paraphernalia on a coffee table (a syringe, spoon and a rubber strap) and a man says he's "high." a man tests a bag of cocaine by tasting it. two priests and a nun are shown drinking beer with their meal and people are shown drinking alcohol in many scenes throughout the movie. two men smoke cigarettes and drink beer, a woman smokes while using an oxygen canister, and people are shown smoking cigarettes in many scenes throughout the movie. a man takes prescription drugs (valium) in several scenes.

pg: bunlarda seks ya da uyuşturucu sahneleri yoktur. belki ucundan azcık çıplaklık vardır o kadar. ucundan azcık derken yanlış anlaşılmasın ama soyunan veya banyo yapan bir kadını duşta görmeniz olası. şiddet ve korku sahneleri de kısa olmak ve aşırı olmamak kaydıyla bulunabilir bu filmlerde.
pg-13: burada pg'ye göre şiddetin dozu biraz artmıştır. çocuklar için iyice düşünülmesi lazım. uzun sürebilen çıplaklık sahneleri vardır, o kadar uzun zaman çıplak kalanlar bir aksiyona da girişebilirler ama nispeten bu kategoride aksiyon azdır, îma edilebilir belki. fakat seksle ilişkili bazı kaba kelimeler duyulabilir. uyuşturucu kullanımı ise bu kategorideki filmlerde günlük bir öğün olarak karşınıza çıkabilir.
r: bu ratingi almış film hakkında ebeveynler, çocuklarını götürmeden/göndermeden önce detaylı bir bilgi edinmeleri tavsiye edilir, zira film yetişkinlere göredir. normal hayatta zikretmekten imtinâ duyduğunuz her bişeyden bolca bulunur. 17 yaş altı bu filmleri ailesi yanında olmak kaydıyla izleyebilir. illa çocuğunu götürmek için kasmak niye, izle kendin otur aşşağa. çocuk nasılsa bi yolunu bulup izler
nc-17: sizin de anlayacağınız gibi bu seviye en hard seviye olmaktadır ve 17 yaşın altındaki gençler için oldukça sakıncalı sahneler ve sözler içermektedir. lakin, bu ratingi almış bir filmi porno ya da insanı şok eden bir film olarak algılamamak lazım. zaman zaman işin "dönüş yok" a kadar gittiği olmuştur ama her zaman o kadar abartı değildir.

- filmden çok reklam izlemek zorunluluğu oluşturan eylem, bazı sahnelerde kumanda bulunamaz baba kendini zorlayarak saçma bir konudan bahseder, dikkatleri üzerine çeker, sahne bittiğinde o bölüm hiç olmamış gibi filmin akışına kapılınır.

- scarry movie serisinin ilk filmini babamla izlemiş olamamı tam manasıyla karşılayan olay.
ağız dolusu kahkahalar atmak istediğim sahnelere, yanımda oturan baba otoritesi nedeniyle, "cık cık cık bu gençlik nerelere gidiyor", "hayır komik mi bu da gülüyor bu insanlar" şeklinde kolpa yorumlar yapmama neden olan durum.
- her iki taraf da çaktırmak istemese de uzun arayışlar sonunda "ahlak,sevgi,saygı" çerçevesinde aileyle izlenebilecek,babanın deyimiyle edepli,yüz kızartıcı ögeler barındırmayan,"tipik türk ailesi kriterleri"ne uygun bir aksiyon filmi bulunmuştur..yüksek dozda gerilim,şiddet vs. ögeleri içerir.ki bu da büyük ölçüde temiz olduğu izlenimi uyandırır.size göre sorun yoktur.film başlar.katiller vardır falan filan..
derken her filmde olmazsa olmaz o büyük(!) sahne alakasız bir zamanda pat diye geliverir."vay anasını,yav çabuk geçse,allah belanı.." şeklinde yükselen iç sesler aile bireylerinin yüz ifadelerine yansımıştır.
